"How do you sell a children’s protein mix to the medical community, parents, and kids?"
Healthy Height® produces protein mixes and products designed to help kids grow. The most powerful proponent of the brand is their medical foundation: Healthy Height® is the only children’s protein mix developed by pediatricians and backed by multiple clinical studies to support its effectivity. However, while this medical niche is an essential component to win favor with consumers and B2B, the brand’s previously rigid identity clashed with the purchaser and end-users (parents and kids). I was asked to bridge the audiences by creating a cohesive blend of professionalism and kid-appeal.
My contributions to the brand development included refining existing elements such as the logo and packaging, expanding the dino’s role, creating illustrations and patterns, establishing brand standards, among many other things. I combed through the most prominent brand assets and pulled pieces that required refinement. To communicate the high quality of the product and the integrity of its development, I wanted to ensure all elements looked and felt intentional: smooth curves, balanced color, and refined embellishment. I took some of the major elements and smoothed things over, sticking to basic shapes and simple lines while continuing the playful nature that speaks to kids.
